Stickio is a calendar app for iPhone and iPad, made by Cre8-it B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number 42147119), which is responsible for the app (“we”). This policy explains what data Stickio uses, where it is kept and who can see it.
Data Stickio uses
- Your Google account’s email address and name, to show which account is connected.
- The list of your Google calendars (their names, colours and whether you can write to them), so you can choose which to show.
- The events in those calendars, to show them and to let you create, change, delete and answer them. Changes you make are sent to Google, and only when you make them.
- What you make in Stickio itself: sticky notes, the colours you give calendars and appointments, which calendars are visible, and your settings.
Where it is kept
- On your device. Stickio keeps a copy of your appointments in the window you are looking at, so the app works offline, together with your sticky notes and settings. This file is not included in device backups.
- In your device’s Keychain. The sign-in tokens Google gives Stickio. Your password is never seen by Stickio: you sign in on Google’s own page.
- In your own iCloud (Apple’s CloudKit, your private database). Sticky notes, colours, calendar visibility and settings, so they appear on your other devices. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account; we cannot access it.
- At your calendar provider. Appointments remain where they are, at Google. Stickio reads them from and writes them to Google directly from your device.
There is no other place: Stickio sends nothing to Cre8-it or to anyone else.
Google user data
Stickio asks Google for these permissions: your basic profile and email address
(openid, email), read-only access to your calendar list
(calendar.calendarlist.readonly) and access to view and edit events
(calendar.events). It uses them only to show your calendars and appointments inside
the app and to make the changes you ask for.
Stickio’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, data from Google is used only to provide Stickio’s calendar features to you; it is never transferred to anyone, never used for advertising, never sold, never read by people, and never used to train or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
What we do not do
- No analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind, and no advertising.
- No account with us, and no data on a server of ours: we have none.
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties.
Deleting your data
- Remove an account in Stickio (Calendars → the account → Remove): its calendars, appointments and tokens are deleted from the device.
- Revoke Stickio’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Delete the app to remove everything it stored on the device.
- Delete the iCloud copy in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Stickio.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Because Stickio sends us nothing, we hold no personal data from the app; everything is on your devices, with your calendar provider and in your own iCloud, where you control it as described above. If you email us, we use your message only to answer it.
Children
Stickio is a general calendar app and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
